Leadership Pathway

Different leadership moments require different capability

Leadership doesn’t fail because people lack commitment.
It falters when expectations shift but capability doesn’t.

The CCC Leadership Pathway allows organisations to design leadership behaviour deliberately, not accidentally. It recognises that different roles carry different cultural weight and require different focus.

This pathway gives organisations a coherent way to shape leadership behaviour from the executive team through to emerging leaders, so culture is reinforced consistently at every level.

A shared way of thinking

Across the Leadership Pathway, CCC uses Whole Brain® Thinking and the Herrmann Brain Dominance Instrument (HBDI®) as a practical leadership tool.

This gives leaders a shared language to understand:

  • • how they think and make decisions
  • • how thinking preferences show up under pressure
  • • how different perspectives strengthen leadership and collaboration

Whole Brain® Thinking is not used as a personality exercise.
It supports judgement, decision-making and leadership effectiveness across the pathway.

Phase 1

How We Lead, Here

Setting the standard for culture and performance

Culture is shaped first by what happens at the top.

This program works with CEOs and Executive Leadership Teams to reset how leadership shows up at the most influential level of the organisation. What executives role-model, tolerate and prioritise is felt immediately across the business.

How We Lead, Here focuses on:

  • • shared expectations for executive leadership behaviour
  • • decision-making under pressure
  • • trust, accountability and role clarity
  • • modelling the culture others are expected to follow

Whole Brain® Thinking is used to strengthen executive decision-making, surface blind spots and improve how leaders think together when stakes are high.

This is not an offsite for strategy slides.
It is focused, honest work that strengthens how the executive team actually leads together.

Best suited to organisations where:

  • •  strategy execution feels harder than it should
  • •  leadership behaviour is inconsistent at the top
  • •  trust or accountability needs a reset
  • •  culture change must start with the executive team

Phase 2

Leading Beyond Your Role

From functional leader to organisational leader

As organisations grow, leadership needs to shift.

This program supports senior leaders to move beyond leading their function and start leading for the whole organisation. It helps leaders lift their perspective, judgement and influence so decisions serve enterprise outcomes, not just functional priorities.

Leaders develop capability to:

  • • think beyond silos
  • • make decisions with enterprise impact in mind
  • • lead through influence, not authority
  • • balance functional accountability with organisational outcomes
  •

Whole Brain® Thinking helps leaders recognise where their natural thinking preferences support or constrain enterprise decision-making.

The work is fast-paced, practical and stretching without being theoretical.

Best suited to organisations where:

  • • senior leaders are strong technically but stretched organisationally
  • • silos are slowing momentum
  • • decision-making feels fragmented
  • • leaders need to step into broader responsibility

Phase 3

How We Lead People

Strong foundations for people leadership

Great culture lives in everyday leadership moments.

How We Lead People builds the core people leadership capability that makes culture consistent, fair and clear across teams. It gives leaders confidence in the conversations and decisions that shape trust, performance and accountability.

Leaders build confidence in:

  • • setting clear expectations
  • • having honest, respectful conversations
  • • managing performance without avoidance
  • • leading people through everyday complexity
  •

Whole Brain® Thinking is used to help leaders adapt their communication and decision-making to different thinking styles, reducing friction and misunderstanding.

This program creates a shared leadership language, so culture is not left to individual style.

High energy. Highly practical. No theory for theory’s sake.

Best suited to organisations where:

  • • leadership quality varies across teams
  • • managers lack confidence in people leadership
  • • culture expectations are applied inconsistently
  • • leaders want clarity, not guesswork

Phase 4

How We Lead People – In Practice

Embedding leadership behaviour where it matters

This phase is about making leadership stick.

Building on How We Lead People, this program combines workshops and individual coaching to embed leadership behaviour in real time. Leaders work with the challenges they are facing now, not hypothetical scenarios.

This phase focuses on:

  • • applying leadership skills under pressure
  • • strengthening habits and consistency
  • • working through real leadership challenges
  • • building confidence through practice
  •

Whole Brain® Thinking supports leaders to recognise how pressure shifts their thinking and behaviour, and how to stay effective when it matters most.

This is where leadership moves from knowing to doing.

Best suited to organisations where:

  • • leadership investment needs a real return
  • • capability needs reinforcing, not repeating
  • • culture change is underway and needs holding
  • • leaders are ready to deepen impact

Phase 5

Stepping Into Leadership

Confidence and clarity for emerging leaders

This program supports emerging leaders to step up with confidence, not overwhelm.

It focuses on building strong early leadership habits so behaviour aligns with culture from the start, not after issues emerge.

Participants build:

  • • self-leadership and awareness
  • • confidence in communication and accountability
  • • clarity around expectations and responsibility
  • • early habits that support your culture
  •

Whole Brain® Thinking helps emerging leaders understand their thinking preferences early, supporting self-awareness and more effective leadership behaviour from day one.

Energetic, engaging and grounded in real leadership situations.

Best suited to organisations where:

  • • new leaders are stepping into bigger roles
  • • leadership capability needs to grow with the organisation
  • • culture consistency matters early
  • • internal talent development is a priority
  •

Phase 6

The Way We Show Up

Everyday behaviours that shape culture

Culture is shaped in the small moments.

How people speak to each other.
How issues are raised or avoided.
How pressure shows up in behaviour.
How responsibility is taken, or quietly passed on.

The Way We Show Up focuses on making these behaviours visible, deliberate and consistent across teams.

Whole Brain® Thinking helps teams understand how different thinking styles influence behaviour, especially under pressure.

What This Program Focuses On

Participants build clarity around:

  • • the behaviours that matter most in this organisation
  • • what’s expected, what’s encouraged and what’s not okay
  • • how behaviour shows up under pressure
  • • how everyday actions shape trust, safety and performance
  •

This is not about telling people how to behave.
It’s about shared ownership of culture.
